Formant shift appears to be a global formant shift while I think that formant track has to do with how much the formant shifts when you change the pitch of a note. I can't seem to find much about this in the manual. 1 is formant track and the other is formant shift. I think melodyne is automatically set up to only shift the pitch and not the formant where as in Logic X, I'm seeing 2 parameters in the track / region inspector.
